At nature's pace
Unanue Zar is a historic building: it is the oldest farmhouse in the municipality of San Sebastián. Its history goes back to the late 15th century, when the original fortified house was built on the site. The house was the home of the Olaizola family for many years, until it was gutted by fire in 2003.
Today this symbol of history and heritage has been rebuilt and converted into a boutique hotel which lives at nature's pace. Because it is located in the locality of Añorga, in an attractive country setting just a few kilometres from the city centre.
